Omaha man booked on murder charge in connection to killing of 18-year-old
An Omaha man was arrested on a murder charge in connection to the killing of an 18-year-old in May.
OMAHA, Neb. —
An Omaha man was arrested on a murder charge in connection to the killing of an 18-year-old in May.
Dheal Duany, 21, was arrested on Friday after a traffic stop near 46th and Redman Avenue. According to Omaha police, Duany was the passenger in the car. He was booked on a charge of first-degree murder.

On May 13, officers responded to the scene near N 48th and Seward streets for a report of a person down in a vehicle, Omaha police said.
Investigators said officers located the victim, identified as Joseph Baha, 18, in the driver’s seat of a Toyota Camry with apparent gunshot wounds.
Omaha police said Baha was declared dead at the scene.
A 14-year-old is charged as an adult in connection with the case. Carl Peak is charged with multiple felonies, including robbery and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
Peak waived his preliminary hearing and will go to district court for trial. His pretrial is scheduled for Oct. 6.
It’s still unclear what led up to the gunfire and Baha’s death.
