Omaha Performing Arts announced a new music venue.

Matchbox Omaha is inside the Holland Performing Arts Center’s Scott Hall.
It is a club venue with standing-room-only that can hold 727 people.
OPA said the venue will hold a variety of concerts, including indie, rock, country, pop, R&B, metal, and EDM.
The venue offers state-of-the-art sound and lighting, as well as bars offering food and drinks.
“The goal of Matchbox is simple,” said Erika Hansen, Vice President of Commercial Entertainment for Omaha Performing Arts. “We want to create a place where audiences can discover their next favorite performer and where artists have the opportunity to build momentum, connect with fans, and grow their careers.”
