Omaha police say young children taken to the hospital with CPR in progress following crash
OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha police confirmed two young children were sent to the hospital with lifesaving measures in progress after a crash.
The incident happened in the area of 114th Street and West Center Road around 6:35 p.m. on Thursday.

According to Lt. Danny Flynn, a driver was turning when their Subaru collided with a Chevy Malibu in the intersection.
In a statement from Omaha police Friday morning, they called the impact ‘severe,’ saying it ripped the Subaru in half.
OPD says a 10-year-old boy and a 5-year-old boy in the back of the Subaru were taken to Children’s Hospital with CPR in progress.
Both drivers were taken to Bergan Mercy with life-threatening injuries.
OPD says the 28-year-old male driver of the Malibu is being investigated for driving under the influence of alcohol.
Speed is also being investigated as a factor in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
