Omaha woman heads to trial in sex trafficking case tied to former city employee

OMAHA, Neb. —

An Omaha woman will go to trial as part of a sex trafficking investigation that involves a former city employee and several others.

Detectives said Jenilee Rapp reported she was “being nice” when she allegedly let 39-year-old Amy Hicks and 62-year-old Thomas Falcon use her home for sex.

She claimed she didn’t know it was sex trafficking.

Prosecutors said messages between Rapp and Falcon show them discussing paying at least one person for sex.

A trial date hasn’t been set.
