Omaha’s Central Library is pushing out a call for public art

Calling all artists!

The Omaha Central Library needs your talent on its walls.

Library officials are accepting a variety of art entries, from traditional visual and performing arts to education, technology, and engineering.

“We really wanted to think about an anniversary piece after our first year of being open,” said Amy Mather with OPL’s Partnerships.

“We’re really looking for the intersection between technology and art,” Mather said.

The new piece will join the collection already at the library.
