Omaha’s Tri-Faith Initiative wins national award

The Courage Project recognizes people and organizations who support their community and work to “help move the nation closer to its highest aspirations.”

Tri-Faith was nominated for the award for their work to foster dialogue between Muslim, Christian and Jewish communities.
“That’s something that sort of aligns squarely with what the Courage Project is about, which is just about people that I think, for lack of a better word, swim against the stream or buck the trend in finding ways to just celebrate humanity, find common respect among different people, and make the world a better place,” chair of the board of directors Brian Fahey said.
Tri-Faith and other award winners will be honored at the Washington National Cathedral on July 3 as part of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
