Fight leads to stabbing in South Omaha early Thursday, police say
Omaha police said one person is critically hurt after a fight ended in a stabbing
OMAHA, Neb. —
A fight led to a stabbing in South Omaha early Thursday. It happened at an apartment complex near 29th and S streets around 2 a.m.
Omaha police said the fight started between people in two neighboring apartments. Officers said the people involved were friends.

One person was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. Police said they are in stable condition.
Investigators spent hours interviewing several people at the scene. No one is in custody as of Thursday morning.
Omaha police said there is no threat to the public.
