One man is dead after a collision between a car and a semi-truck on Monday afternoon along I-29 in Council Bluffs, according to the Iowa State Patrol.It happened around 5 p.m. on I-29 northbound near 25th St. According to a crash report, the driver of the semi-truck was heading north on I-29. The report details that a pickup truck was stationary in the right lane of the interstate when the semi-truck crashed into it.It’s not clear why the pickup truck was stationary.The pickup truck driver, identified as Donald Marks, 60, was pronounced dead at the scene.A passenger in the semi-truck was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
