62-year-old man dies after crash in Otoe County, deputies say
SYRACUSE, Neb. —
A 62-year-old man died after a crash in Otoe County on Sunday night, deputies said.
Deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash near Highway 2 and County Road 36, which is east of Syracuse, around 8:30 p.m., the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office said.

Investigators said a Volkswagen Jetta was attempting to cross Highway 2 southbound on County Road 36 and did not yield the right of way to a Ford Fusion traveling westbound on Highway 2.
The driver of the Volkswagen, identified as Todd Dorn, was taken to a local hospital where he died from his injuries, deputies said.
The driver of the Ford was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, according to authorities.
The crash is under investigation.
