Panasonic is recalling more than 11,000 electric toaster ovens because of potential shock or fire hazards.

According to a recall notice from the Consumer Product Safety Commission, 11,480 Panasonic Electric Toaster Ovens, Model No. NB-G200, have been recalled because “the power cord insulation can be insufficient due to a protective fiberglass sleeve not covering it adequately, posing a risk of shock and/or fire hazard.”

There have been four reports of tripped circuit breakers or outlets and one report that the product stopped working, the notice says. No fires or injuries have been reported.

The recalled toaster ovens were sold on Amazon, on Costco’s website and other online platforms, including Panasonic’s website, nationwide between October 2024 and April 2026 for about $170.

Anyone who owns the recalled toaster ovens should stop using them immediately and contact Panasonic for a full refund.
