Person found dead in burning car on Highway 75 on-ramp

OMAHA, Neb. —

Authorities say a person died in an incident on eastbound Interstate 80 near the Highway 75 interchange in Omaha early Monday morning.

Omaha police were called to the scene where a single vehicle was reported to be on fire.

Authorities say they found one person dead inside the car.

It is unclear if the person died because of the fire.

The interchange is still closed as of Monday at 6:40 a.m.
