One person is in the hospital for smoke inhalation, and five people are displaced after a house fire near South 220th and Riverside Drive late last night. Omaha Fire Department said they were called to the area just before 11 p.m. Crews said flames were visible coming from the back of the home when they arrived. Firefighters took a defensive approach to battling the blaze, meaning they did not enter the home. Everyone inside the building, including the person hospitalized, was able to evacuate on their own.
