It sort of happened gradually. Uh, I knew one of the passengers was getting ill. This is at the end of April, and I just reached out and asked if I could assist the doc, make sure he felt he had adequate coverage. And I was told that the doctor was also sick. So, over 12 to 24 hours, it became clear that there were *** number of people sick and that they were getting sicker. And It’s sort of, I sort of fell into the role of becoming the ship doctor. On It Swelling, some GI issues, and just felt. *** very No. So. Hello. Sorry about that. True. All right. Well, there are 3 patients, uh, that seem to be getting ill around the same time. Uh, one of them, just very non-specific symptoms, *** lot of confusion, and *** lot of weakness. And she ultimately, uh, passed away relatively quickly. The two other gentlemen, quite *** bit younger, including the doc, Just had *** lot of standard viral symptoms. *** lot of fever, fatigue, flushing, some GI issues, some shortness of breath. Um, at the time, neither one of them looked critically ill, but the fear with hantavirus is you can go from seriously ill to critically ill very, very quickly.
