Regents discusses adding Omaha Community Foundation to plan to buy Clarkson Regional Health Services out of Nebraska Medicine
LINCOLN, Neb. —
The University of Nebraska Board of Regents met to discuss more of the plan to buy Clarkson Regional Health Services’ shares of Nebraska Medicine.
Now, the Omaha Community Foundation will be a partner on the deal and make up half the seats on the board.

“These bylaws, if passed, will remain in place while the university and Omaha Community Foundation work together to negotiate the potential longstanding partnership of Nebraska Medicine governance and moving forward,” Dr. Jeffrey Gold, president of the University of Nebraska System, said.
The Clarkson deal closing is set for Tuesday.
