Report: ISU basketball star suffers shoulder injury
Killyan Toure faces prospect of missing time after injury in Salt Lake City.

Iowa State star Killyan Toure is reportedly dealing with a shoulder injury. The Des Moines Register reports that Toure was hurt while participating in Damian Lillard’s elite camp in Salt Lake City.
It is unclear how severe the injury is or how long the guard will be out, but the belief is that he’ll miss time.

Iowa State could not be reached for comment.
Toure, a native of Pamiers, France, is coming off a promising freshman season in which he averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. He is considered one of the best defenders in the country and one of the most important players on the team. ISU opens the season Monday, November 2, against Memphis. The game is in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
