Authorities said the victim was standing between two vehicles, waiting to get into a gray SUV, when Israel Villanueva-Luna allegedly struck the back of a white vehicle, reversed, and fled the scene.
The victim was taken to Nebraska Medicine where police said she needed both legs amputated.
A diagram from the accident report shows Villanueva-Luna was driving eastbound on Q Street when he hit a parked vehicle, which then squished the pedestrian in the space between that parked car and her parked car.
The 29-year-old suspect is approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. Police said he has a history of domestic assault, receiving stolen property, and has an active warrant for two counts of misdemeanor theft.
His last known address is near 21st and Vinton Streets.
