Road rage suspect pleads guilty to firing a gun in incident

OMAHA, Neb. —

The man at the center of a road rage incident in Omaha was convicted of firing a gun in the incident.

Trevor Masters pleaded guilty to discharging a firearm on Tuesday. Four other felony counts were dismissed as part of a plea agreement, according to court documents.

Police said Masters got into a fight during a road rage incident in March near 144th and Harrison Streets. They said both drivers went to a convenience store where the argument continued.

The 39-year-old victim told officers that, as he was driving away, the suspect fired a shot at the back of the vehicle, shattering a window.

Masters is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 21.
