TICKET SCALPERS KNOW THE LAWS THEY’RE OPERATING UNDER LIKE THIS KANSAS CITY AND TOLD KETV AT THE 2018 COLLEGE WORLD SERIES. PROSECUTIONS UNDER THE CODE DROPPED FROM AROUND A DOZEN A YEAR TO ZERO. AND WHY BAN IT IN THE FIRST PLACE? IT LEADS TO CONGESTION. IT LEADS TO HIGH PRESSURE SALES TECHNIQUES AND THINGS LIKE THAT. THE ORDINANCE BANS TICKET SCALPING WITHIN A HALF MILE OF THE VENUE. THAT’S QUITE A WAYS FOR THE BALLPARK. TO GIVE YOU SOME PERSPECTIVE HERE IN THE BOB KERREY PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE IS STILL TOO CLOSE. The Road to Omaha is set.The NCAA revealed the full bracket for the Division I baseball championship, which concludes with the College World Series at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha.Alabama (37-19), Auburn (38-19), Florida (39-19), Georgia (46-12), Georgia Tech (48-9), North Carolina (45-11-1), Texas (40-13), and UCLA (51-6) earned the top eight seeds. The Bruins are the No. 1 overall seed.Florida State (38-17), Kansas (42-16), Mississippi State (40-17), Nebraska (42-15), Oregon (40-16), Southern Mississippi (43-15), Texas A&M (39-14), and also received national seeds and will host a regional.The Huskers are the No. 1 seed in the Lincoln regional, and No. 13 seed overall. Nebraska will face South Dakota State (24-31).
