Sarpy County man accused of shooting, killing wife held without bond
SARPY COUNTY, Neb. —
The Sarpy County man accused of killing his wife in a shooting was denied bond during a court appearance Thursday.
Cameron Skayman is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree assault, terroristic threats, child abuse, and use of a firearm to commit a felony in the incident.

According to authorities, a 911 call was received and a woman, identified as Coral Eaton, 34, said her husband, Skayman, 35, was shooting a weapon inside their home.
Sarpy County deputies responded to the home along with Papillion police officers. During this time, the telephone line remained open, but dispatchers lost contact with Eaton.
Once authorities arrived at the scene, they heard a shot from inside the home.
Sarpy County authorities said Skayman exited the home and was taken into custody. He was taken to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Officials said he is in stable condition.
When deputies entered the home, they found Eaton deceased.
A child was also found inside the residence unharmed. The juvenile was taken to Project Harmony.
Skayman was held without bond Thursday. He is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 21.
