Nebraska couple killed in Saunders County crash as deputies investigate collision
SAUNDERS COUNTY, Neb. —
A Nebraska couple died after a crash in Saunders County on Sunday afternoon, officials said.
Saunders County deputies responded to the crash, which occurred on Highway 79 at County Road V, about four miles north of Prague, around 3:30 p.m.

Investigators said a Dodge Ram was traveling southbound on Highway 79 and the driver, identified as 89-year-old Marvin Fujan, attempted to turn eastbound onto County Road V in front of a Ford F-350.
The Ford was traveling northbound on Highway 79 and was unable to avoid the collision, authorities said.
The passenger in the Dodge, identified as 84-year-old Mildred Fujan, was declared dead at the scene, the Saunders County Sheriff’s Office said.
Marvin Fujan was declared dead at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, according to authorities.
The crash is still under investigation.
