Omaha police said a 31-year-old man crashed an electric scooter into a parked car and was not wearing a helmet.
Omaha police said a scooter rider crashed into a parked car just before 8 p.m. Thursday.The crash happened near 47th and Davenport streets.Police said the 31-year-old man was riding eastbound on Davenport Street on an electric scooter when he hit the rear taillight area of a parked 2013 Ford Taurus.He was taken to Nebraska Medicine with life-threatening injuries.Investigators said he was not wearing a helmet.
