Service returns for thousands of TV users who reported Xfinity outage
Service has been restored after Comcast Xfinity television customers across the country reported service outages on Monday. Xfinity’s support account on X received numerous reports from New Jersey, Massachusetts, Minnesota and Missouri, among other states. Xfinity officials responded to customers’ reports saying, “We are aware of and tracking a known TV service issue that is affecting customers nationwide.”Down Detector received more than 25,000 outage reports from across the country. Of those reports, 80% were related to television service. According to Xfinity’s outage map, the issue is largely resolved. “Our customers are now up and running after a very brief interruption to their services due to a system update. We apologize for the inconvenience,” a Comcast statement says.
