Severe weather brings tornado warnings, hail and heavy rain to Nebraska, Iowa on Thursday morning
THAT GOES OUT UNTIL 73645. NOW WE’RE APPROACHING THE 7:00 HOUR. AND REALLY THE SEVERE THREAT HERE THROUGH THE KETV VIEWING AREA IS STARTING TO WIND DOWN. BUT I MEAN, THIS THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER WILL CONTINUE TO RULE EAST THROUGH SOUTHERN IOWA HERE THROUGH THE REST OF THE MORNING. IF WE PAN JUST DOWN AND SEE IF YOU CAN JUST A LITTLE MORE SOUTH DOWN TO NOTTOWAY COUNTY, MISSOURI. SO IT LOOKS LIKE IT COULD GET CLOSE. BUT FOLKS IN MARYVILLE, YOU KNOW, OUR VIEWERS WHO WATCH US HERE, IT LOOKS LIKE THE MAIN THREAT WILL STAY JUST NORTH OF YOU, BUT STILL MOVING THROUGH NORTHERN NOTTOWAY COUNTY AND MOVING MORE EAST AND SOUTHEAST THERE. SO RED OAK, WE HAD THAT REPORTS YOU KNOW, FROM FROM THE WIND. SOME POWER OUTAGES NEAR THE AIRPORT, ESSEX, A REPORT OF 90 MILE PER HOUR WIND GUSTS. VILLISCA HAD 73. BUT AGAIN SOME OF THOSE AREAS WERE TORNADO WARNED AS WELL. SO JUST ZOOM BACK OUT AGAIN SHOWING YOU THE DOW THAT JUST WALL OF WIND. I’VE USED THAT TERM REALLY ALL MORNING LONG. BUT I MEAN THAT’S WHAT IT IS RIGHT NOW. WHEN YOU GET JUST THAT SQUALL LINE THAT JUST CONTINUES TO RIDE EASTWARD ALONG THAT AXIS WITH THAT FRONTAL BOUNDARY THERE, YOU KNOW, A LOT OF MOISTURE TO WORK WITH TO JUST CONTINUE TO PROLONG ITSELF THROUGH THE REST OF THE MORNING. SO THE EARLY MORNING THREAT, THE OMAHA METRO AGAIN, WE GOT SOME TORRENTIAL RAIN, BUT THE WORST OF IT STAY JUST SOUTH OF US. SO REALLY FROM LINCOLN NEAR EAGLE WEEPING WATER THROUGH AGAIN, SHENANDOAH, ESSEX, TO THE GLENWO
