FBI prepares for rise in human trafficking at College World Series
OMAHA, Neb. —
Human trafficking crimes can rise during the College World Series, according to state and city leaders.
“Often, people are trafficked in airports, hotels, restaurants, out in the street. And we depend on the public to be vigilant and to look for warning signs or behavioral signs,” Eugene Kowel, the special agent in charge of the FBI Omaha Field Office, said.

The FBI and other state agencies say they are ready to take on the major crime.
