South Florida transfer Wes Enis discusses big level change as he prepares for 2026/27 Bluejay season

OMAHA, Neb. —

One of the big additions to Creighton basketball’s roster is a 6-foot-2 transfer from South Florida.

Wes Enis started his college career in Division II before leading South Florida in scoring, averaging 16.5 points per game.

Now at Creighton, Enis knows there’s a big difference between those levels.

“Just being how competitive it is every day and how much of a demand it is every day at the Division I level compared to Division II,” he said. “Yeah, I’m still trying to prove it. Still trying to prove that I’m a every day guy.”

Enis has two seasons of eligibility.

Coach Alan Huss said Enis is so competitive that sometimes they have to dial him back down during practice.
