The event also featured live sideshow performances throughout the day.
Organizers describe the traveling, independently operated show as a welcoming place where people with similar interests can discover new artists, meet vendors and connect with others in the oddities community.
“Everything is byproduct. So it’s all pest control, roadkill, things like that,” said Noah Fischer, a vendor from Minnesota at the event. “It’s all the stuff that would normally be thrown away. We clean it and then bring it to events like this.”
Organizers say all items sold at the expo are legal to own and sustainably sourced. The expo bills itself as the country’s first traveling event dedicated exclusively to oddities vendors and dark artists.
