But one event celebrates those who have survived, and it’s doing it in style.
Pink Lotus Project Nebraska is rolling out the runway for their 6th annual ‘Strut for the Cure’ fashion show.
The signature fundraising gala and empowerment event brings together cancer survivors, community leaders, and supporters for an evening of inspiration and hope.
“It’s a fashion show for all cancer survivors, it’s really just a celebration of life,” said Pink Lotus Project Nebraska founder Tisa Hardin.
The event is on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Metro Community College South Campus.
Doors open at 4:00 p.m., refreshments are served at 5:00 p.m., and the show is from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
