Bellevue community gathers school supplies for students in need
BELLEVUE, Neb. —
Bellevue residents came together Saturday morning to donate school supplies during the “Stuff the Bus” event, hosted by Bellevue Public Schools Transportation, to support local students this back-to-school season.
The collected supplies will be used to create 400 kits, which will be distributed to students selected by Bellevue Public Schools counselors and social workers.

“The bus is coming to where we have our event at, and we’re going to unload all these different supplies, and we’ve got volunteers that’ll come together to count all these to make sure we have what we need for those 400 kits,” Suzanne Quinn said.
The supplies gathered during the event will be distributed at a later event.
