COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa —

Summerfest returns to Council Bluffs on Friday.

The free event runs from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Tom Hanafan River’s Edge Park.

It features live music, food trucks, local vendors, family activities and a drone show at dark.

Meteorologist Caitlin Harvey was live in Council Bluffs earlier Friday with the forecast.
