The film, titled “Omaha,” is a coming-of-age drama that offers a glimpse into the mindset of some parents during the passage of the law in 2008. “‘Omaha’ is a really, really beautiful representation of what I love about movies. It’s emotional; it’s actor forward. It really loves its actors, and it tells a simple but impactful story,” director Cole Webley said.
