The Mega Millions jackpot swelled to $707 million after last Friday’s drawing didn’t have a winner.

The winner can choose a one-time cash payment of $307.7 million or opt for 29 annual payments totaling the $707 million jackpot.

If a player wins Tuesday’s jackpot, it’ll be the largest jackpot won this year. In March, an anonymous player in Illinois won a $536 million jackpot.

The Get the Facts Data Team analyzed Mega Millions drawings since October 2017 to determine which numbers have been drawn most frequently.

What are the most frequently drawn numbers?

To play the game, players select five white ball numbers ranging from 1 to 70 and one gold Mega Ball number ranging from 1 to 24.

To win the jackpot, players have to match all six numbers exactly as they are drawn. The odds of doing that? One in 290,472,336.

But there are some numbers that have been drawn more than others. For the white balls, the number 10 has been drawn 85 times, about 9% of the time since 2017.

The second and third most frequently drawn white ball numbers are 17 and 31. For the gold Mega Ball, 22 and 24 are tied as the most frequently drawn numbers at 47 times, or 5% of drawings. Number 18 was drawn just three times fewer than those two numbers.

While the odds of winning the jackpot seem slim, there are eight other possible ways to win a prize. The next Mega Millions drawing is Tuesday at 11 p.m. ET.
