A motorcade made its way through Iowa to welcome “The Wall That Heals,” a traveling replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall, which arrived in Council Bluffs on Wednesday. The memorial honors more than 58,000 service members who made the ultimate sacrifice during the Vietnam War. “It’s really about honoring our Vietnam veterans, as we both know, those veterans, when they came home, did not get to walk alone. They truly deserved, in fact, they were treated terribly.
