‘They are cherished and valued’: Nail studio brings care to homeless shelter
OMAHA, Neb. —
A local nail studio brought care and beauty for a day of “pampering” for Open Door Mission’s Lydia House.
Virgo Nail Studio visited the homeless shelter on Sunday to provide nail services for guests, all free of charge.

The Open Door Mission’s Gynne Gonnerman, philanthropy director, was more than grateful for the amount of memories made.
“I think it’s just a chance for our guests to know that they are cherished, they are valuable. They are important. And when we can make them feel beautiful for themselves,” Gonnerman said.
Along with mani-pedis, around 100 gift bags were given out alongside food at the event.
