Thursday night house fire displaces Bennington family
Fire officials said the blaze burned off part of the roof and left the home unlivable.
OMAHA, Neb. —
A Bennington family was displaced after a fire burned off much of the roof of their home Thursday, fire officials said.
The fire broke out in northwest Omaha, just off Ida on 151st Street, on Thursday.

Crews said the blaze likely started in the garage and spread through the home.
Everyone, including one pet, got out safely.
Fire officials said heavy smoke damaged the house, and the family will be out for several months.
