LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

“We made this like our second home. We made a lot of family… Like, they took good care of our child when we couldn’t be there,” Tamarion’s mother Keiara Porter said.
Tamarion went through multiple surgeries and eventually was put on the heart transplant list.
A year later, he finally received a new heart in the spring.
After 492 days, Tamarion finally got to trade the hospital for home.
His mother said that she is excited for Tamarion to get some family photos and watch her son grow up into a strong person.
