President Trump approves Nebraska disaster declaration for storms, severe flooding
Nebraska —
President Trump approved a disaster declaration for several Nebraska counties impacted by May’s severe storms.
FEMA disaster assistance is now available for Buffalo, Fillmore, Gage, Howard, Jefferson, Nemaha, Thayer and Thurston counties.

The declaration allows residents to recover from severe storms and flooding that took place from May 15 through May 18.
Public assistance will also be available for emergency work and repairs.
