A Turning Point USA campus tour event at Iowa State University on Thursday has been postponed to the fall.The conservative organization shared on Monday that Vice President JD Vance, who was scheduled to attend the event along with Erika Kirk, had to cancel because of some unexpected congressional votes scheduled in Washington, D.C. The organization said that because students are entering the final weeks of the semester and final exams are on the horizon, the event is unable to be rescheduled until the fall.Members of the Iowa State chapter of TPUSA and other local student volunteers will travel to the nation’s capital to personally meet Vance as a thank you for organizing the event, the organization said.
