Omaha police investigate shooting that injures 2 teenagers
Omaha police say a ShotSpotter alert led officers to a late Tuesday shooting near 19th and Locust Street that injured a 17-year-old boy at the scene and a 16-year-old boy who later arrived at Nebraska Medical Center.
OMAHA, Neb. —
Omaha police are investigating a shooting that happened late Tuesday that injured two teenage boys.
Officers responded shortly after 11 p.m. to 19th and Locust Street after a ShotSpotter alert of gunfire.

Police found a 17-year-old boy at the scene with gunshot wounds. Omaha Fire Department medics took him to Bergan Mercy Medical Center. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening.
About 11:30 p.m., a 16-year-old boy arrived by private vehicle at Nebraska Medical Center with gunshot wounds. Police said his injuries were also not life-threatening.
