OMAHA, Neb. —
Nebraska is experiencing its second blood emergency in three months.
Pam Ludlow from the Nebraska Community Blood Bank sat down with KETV Newswatch 7’s Jaylon Banks to urge people to donate their blood and platelets.

“Our number one patients are cancer patients, but there are also the trauma victims who have car accidents,” said Ludlow.
She added that there is also a high demand for blood for mothers and their newborns, as well as chronic blood disorder patients.
