US gas prices hit $4 a gallon again Monday

The average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States hit $4 a gallon again Monday as the war in Iran intensified.

Gas prices spiked after U.S. and Israeli airstrikes in February. The average reached $4 by the end of March — the first time since 2022 that gas prices were above that threshold.
