Very hot early this evening around Omaha
OMAHA, Neb. —
Temperatures spiked above 100 Monday at Omaha’s Eppley airfield. This will be our hottest day since August 24, 2023, when the mercury hit 104 degrees. A shower or thunderstorm is possible this evening and tonight, then a cold front will slice through the area bringing real relief from the heat as early as Tuesday. With more clouds and rain chances Wednesday and Thursday, there is a chance we will stay below 80 degrees for a few days!
