Video shows wild rollover crash that blocked a busy Boston tunnel

A rollover crash in the eastbound Ted Williams Tunnel in Boston brought traffic to a stop Thursday morning.

The crash happened at about 5:50 a.m. in the eastbound lanes before Logan Airport and blocked both travel lanes. It was cleared about an hour later.

In a video released by MassDOT, it appears a blue sedan crossed into an adjacent travel lane and hit a white SUV. The impact caused the sedan to turn onto its side before it came to rest on its roof, blocking both lanes of traffic.

One person was taken to the hospital as a precaution, Massachusetts State Police said.
