Video: Strong winds lift car off Ohio interstate, flipping it on its roof

COLUMBUS, Ohio —

Strong winds tossed a car into the air on an Ohio interstate, and it was all caught on camera.

Traffic cameras were rolling Tuesday morning on Interstate 71 at Weber Road in Columbus, Ohio.

Storms in central Ohio prompted multiple severe weather alerts, including tornado warnings for parts of the region.

Part of the video appears to show a car getting thrown upside down by either intense winds or debris.

Other cars can be seen stopped as the storm passed through.

It’s unclear if anyone was injured.

It’s unclear if what passed the highway was a tornado. The National Weather Service will likely assess videos and damage before releasing initial findings.
