Watch: Ohio fire officials rescue baby deer from storm drain

First responders in New Richmond, Ohio, stepped in to help rescue a baby deer that was stuck inside a storm drain on Tuesday.
New Richmond Fire and EMS said the call came in for a fawn trapped in a storm drain, with fire officials and police responding to help.

Crews were able to safely maneuver into the drain and rescue the deer before helping it back to a natural area.

“While not every call involves fire or emergency medical care, we’re always ready to respond when assistance is needed—no matter how big or small the situation may be,” New Richmond Fire and EMS said on Facebook.
New Richmond is around 20 miles outside of Cincinnati.
