The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is giving an update on an investigation after deputies shot and killed an armed suspect earlier this month.Deputies attempted to arrest 26-year-old Jaquan Marion on May 8 near 19th and Washington streets. He became a member of the SOG in 2025 and additionally serves on DCSO’s SWAT Team, authorities said.Deputy Tyler Tipton, 29, has served with the DCSO for 5 years. Officials said he has been with the SOG since 2024 and additionally serves on DCSO’s SWAT Team.Deputy Kaitlynn Rohde, 24, has served with the DCSO for 3 years.
