VIDEO: Suspect catches fire as pair try to torch Michigan cannabis shop
Security footage from a Michigan cannabis shop shows the wild moment two people smash a vehicle into the store, and then try to burn it down. It happened early Sunday morning inside the Pure Cannabis Outlet in Monroe, Michigan, south of Detroit. Video shows the two suspects back a stolen Jeep into the business and then pour gasoline inside. They ignite the blaze and begin to flee the scene, but not before one of the suspect catches fire. The suspect was still on fire as the two ran through the business’ parking lot.WJBK reported that when first responders arrived, the business’ sprinkler system was extinguishing the fire. Despite the damage left behind, the business is open and joked about the incident on its social media page, saying they don’t have a drive-thru.Authorities are still searching for the two suspects.
