OMAHA, Neb. —

The MAHA Music Festival is this weekend, and there’s a little bit of everything scheduled.

Indie rock band Wet Leg will take center stage Saturday at 9:45 p.m.

There are also several other artists before them, including Grammy Award-winning rapper Killer Mike, Omaha’s own Bright Eyes, alternative artist Blondshell and local artists David Nance and Carver Jones.

MAHA takes place at The RiverFront. You can buy tickets at this website.

  • Umbrellas (ponchos are cool)
  • Camping tents
  • Glass containers
  • Selfie-sticks
  • Drones
  • Instruments, air horns, or megaphones
  • Laser pointers
  • Beach balls
  • Audio recording equipment
  • Roller skates, skateboards, scooters, or bicycles (though there is a monitored bike parking area just outside of the park)
  • Professional photography and video recording equipment including cameras with interchangeable lenses and SLRs

Food

  • Parthenon- serves Greek salads, gyros, Greek pastries, and spanakopita
  • Tikka Talk- serves samosas, naan, curry, biryanis and more
  • 221 Grill- homemade pickles and street food
  • Hyde’s Slyde’s Burgers- Burgers, wraps, fries, baked potatoes and more
  • Rutabaga’s Vegan- plant-based foods
  • Johnny Rico’s Pizza- New York-style thin crust pizzas (whole or sliced)
  • Javi’s Tacos- Taco platters, burritos, rice bowls, street tacos, nachos and churros
  • Cloud 9- Tacos, deli sliders, charcuterie boards, pinwheels
  • Gelu Italian Ice- shaved ice cream

Parking

The MAHA Festival recommends parking in Lot A at the CHI Health Center.

Attendees can access this spot through either Douglas Street or Riverside Drive.

Additional lots such as 15th and Douglas, 12th and Capitol, 12th and Harney, and 1011 Jackson will also be open — 8th Street will be closed during this time.
