Wild video: Worker falls through ceiling into reptile rescue, dangles above snake cages
RECORD LOW THIS MORNING AND THEN INTO THE 50S. THANK YOU FOR KEEPING AN EYE ON ALL OF IT. ALL RIGHT GUYS, SO IMAGINE THIS. YOU’RE A WORKER. YOU’RE DOING REPAIR WORK ON A ROOF LEAK AT A BUSINESS IN LANCASTER COUNTY. BUT YOU TAKE A WRONG STEP BETWEEN THE STUDS. SO YOU CRASH THROUGH THE CEILING. JUST LIKE THAT, RIGHT THERE AND UNDERNEATH YOU, A ROOM WITH DOZENS OF SNAKES, TURTLES AND LIZARDS. THIS HAPPENED AT THE FORGOTTEN REPTILE RESCUE. THE WORKER WAS DOING REPAIRS ON THE ATTIC ABOVE THE MAIN REPTILE BUILDING. LOOK AT THAT. THE WORKER CAUGHT THE STUDS WITH HIS ARMS AND HE WAS ABLE TO LIFT HIMSELF UP. BUT HIS FEET DID TOUCH SOME OF THOSE SNAKE CAGES. THANKFULLY, NO WORKERS OR SNAKES WERE HURT. I FEEL LIKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS WOULD HAPPEN, I REALLY DO. A roof repair at Forgotten Friend Reptile Rescue in Pennsylvania turned into a startling moment caught on video when a worker fell through the ceiling into a room filled with snakes, turtles and lizards.The worker was in the attic above the main reptile building when the ceiling gave way. Video shows him catching himself on the studs with his arms and pulling himself back up, though his feet briefly touched a few snake cages below. No workers or reptiles were injured.
