The Lancaster county sheriff’s office said a 62-year-old woman has died 9 days after she was involved in a crash on I-80 between Lincoln and Waverly. Investigators said a truck and trailer lost part of its load on the road. Charlene Lautenschlager, 62, and Leslie Lautenschlager, 64, stopped to remove the pallets from the road. Deputies said while Charlene was trying to pick up the wood pallets, she was run over by the trailer. She went to the hospital with serious injuries. Charlene died on April 23rd from those injuries.
