Woman honored by family in Omaha after alleged domestic violence death in Georgia
OMAHA, Neb. —
Family and friends came together at Enduring Faith Christian Center in Omaha to honor the life of 34-year-old Brandy Bess, a nurse and mother of four, who police say was allegedly shot and killed by Anthony Ware, 39.
Bess’ parents said she had been in an on-and-off relationship with Ware.

“Celebrate for being a nurse, a mother of four beautiful children and just wanting to go around the world and to do medical services around the world,” said Pastor Michael Warrick.

Bess’ family is now raising awareness about domestic violence, which they believe contributed to her death.
